Artificial Nails - Level II

Information & Requirements

  • 50% of the course cost is required to secure your spot in the class. The remaining balance is due on the course date.
  • As with all classes at the Esthetic Institute, students are expected to arrive in school uniform, which is professional attire appropriate for the spa/esthetic environment (jeans, sneakers, and sweats/hoodies are NOT considered professional attire). A White Lab Jacket is required (available for purchase at Beauty Depot) and please bring a pair of indoor soft soled shoes. Please be prepared to pull back long hair.
  • Lab jacket and professional attire is required. (No jeans or sweats) A pair of soft soled indoor shoes is required. (Jacket and shoes available at Beauty Depot. Please call to ensure your sizes are available )
  • Please bring with you the following; Paper, Pen, Pencil and Highlighter and your UV Nail Lamp, cuticle pusher, cuticle nippers, nail brushes and dust brush.
  • Be prepared to pull back long hair
  • Models are required: Day 1 @ 1:oo pm for approx. 3 hrs. (Full set, model should have natural nails)
  • Day 2 @ 1:oo pm for approx. 2hrs. (Fill, preferably problematic; lifting, cracks, model should already have artificial nails on. Please note that if you cannot find a model that needs a fill, you may do a full set instead.) A Model fee of $5.00 is applicable for each of your models and will be collected by your instructor when models arrive. Please ensure that your model has correct change. Cash only please.
  • Lunch break will be 30 minutes. A bagged lunch can be brought. Please note, smoking is only permitted at the side of the building.
  • All class and workshop dates are subject to change. We reserve the right to reschedule or cancel any class.
  • On the first day of class, please arrive 15 minutes prior to your start time to allow for check-in and payment. On subsequent days, please ensure that you are here on time and prepared for class. If you are unable to be on time for whatever reason, you are expected to call and notify your instructor prior to class start time. If you are unable to get through to the main line, you may leave a message at ext 226. If you are more than 30 minutes late without prior notice, you will need to reschedule the entire class with our Education Director. A rescheduling fee of $175.00 will apply.
  • Please park your vehicle on the west side of the building. Please ensure you have picked up your parking pass (from The Esthetic Institute) and that it is in your vehicle in a visible location.
