Information & Requirements

  • 50% of the course cost is required to secure your spot in the class. The remaining balance is due on the course date.
  • As with all classes at the Esthetic Institute, students are expected to arrive in school uniform, which is professional attire appropriate for the spa/esthetic environment (jeans, sneakers, and sweats/hoodies are NOT considered professional attire). A White Lab Jacket is required (available for purchase at Beauty Depot) and please bring a pair of indoor soft soled shoes. Please be prepared to pull back long hair.
  • Please have no artificial nail product on your own nails or on your models nails.
  • Please bring with you the following; Paper, Pen, Pencil and Highlighter
  • A Model is required on Day 2 at 2:15pm. Please ensure your model has natural nails. The model will be required for approximately two hours.
  • A Model is required on the exam day at 12:45pm.
  • PLEASE NOTE THAT MODELS CANNOT BE DIABETIC AND MUST BE AT LEAST 13 YEARS OF AGE. WE ASK THAT MODELS DO NOT BRING THEIR CHILDREN INTO CLASS PLEASE.
  • A Model fee of $5.00 is applicable for your model and will be collected by your instructor when models arrive. Please ensure that your model has correct change. Cash only please.
  • 10 Quotas must be completed before the exam day in order to receive certification.
  • Lunch break will be 30 minutes. A bagged lunch can be brought. Please note, smoking is only permitted at the side of the building.
  • On the first day of class, please arrive 15 minutes prior to your start time to allow for check-in and payment. On subsequent days, please ensure that you are here on time and prepared for class. If you are unable to be on time for whatever reason, you are expected to call and notify your instructor prior to class start time. If you are unable to get through to the main line, you may leave a message at ext 226. If you are more than 30 minutes late without prior notice, you will need to reschedule the entire class with our Education Director. A rescheduling fee of $175.00 will apply.
  • All class and workshop dates are subject to change. We reserve the right to reschedule or cancel any class.
  • Please park your vehicle on the west side of the building. Please ensure you have picked up your parking pass (from The Esthetic Institute) and that it is in your vehicle in a visible location.
